Dominic Godi is entering his eighth year with UConn Athletics and serves as Executive Associate Athletic Director for Revenue & Front Office Strategy
As a member of Athletic Director David Benedict’s executive team, Godi is a senior leader on external leadership and revenue strategy. He oversees Marketing, the Creative and Social Media team, Video Services and ancillary revenues. He also develops sales, marketing and advertising strategies to generate ticket revenue and leads additional revenue efforts, including sponsorships and NIL sales.
Godi oversees UConn’s NIL strategy, including department operations and licensing for all NIL agreements, and manages the department’s post-House settlement benefits and cap management strategy.
Godi has served as sport administrator for Football since 2022 and also serves as sport administrator for Women’s Ice Hockey. For Football, he leads scheduling strategy as an FBS independent, arranging games in coordination with media partner CBS Sports Network.
He is the primary liaison to the Office of the General Counsel, leading efforts on employment agreements, student-athlete NIL agreements, game contracts and other business needs. He previously oversaw human resources for the department.
Godi most recently served as Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Initiatives. He began his full-time career at UConn in 2019 as Assistant Director of Athletic Administration and was elevated to Deputy Director of Athletics Administration in 2021. In these roles, he gained experience in game operations, event contracts and employment agreements.
Before joining the department full time, he was an undergraduate intern for three years and then an athletic administration graduate assistant.
Godi graduated from UConn in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and earned a master’s degree in sport management in 2019.
