Bio
Former University of Connecticut swimmer John Hogan is in his first year as a member of the Husky coaching staff.
Originally, a walk-on at UConn, Hogan now holds the school record in the 500-yard freestyle and also holds the second-best school time in the 200-yard freestyle. He qualified for the BIG EAST Conference Championship in all four of his years at UConn and was also a U.S. Open qualifier.
A team captain in 2009-10, Hogan was a three-time BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
A native of Walkersville, Md., Hogan graduate with a degree in resource economics.
