Kristin Kenney joined the Connecticut coaching staff for the 2012 seasonafter serving as an assistant coach at Harvard for five seasons from 2007 through 2011. In her first year with the program, the Huskies jumped from 10th place in the BIG EAST to fourth and earned a spot in the conference tournament and finished the season with a 19-12 overall record.

In her first two seasons at Harvard, Kenney was the team[apos]s secondary assistant before being promoted to primary assistant in the summer of 2009.

A 2007 graduate of Boston College, Kenney was a four-year starting defensive specialist for the Eagles. Kenney helped the team to its first 20-win season in program history and first appearance in the BIG EAST Tournament. She received the Athletic Director[apos]s Award for Academic Achievement all four seasons and was the recipient of the 2006 Boston College Coaches Award.

Kenney represented the Ivy League Conference on the AVCA Assistant Coaches Committee. Kenney was also a member of Harvard[apos]s Athletic Department Recruiting Committee and Coach Development Committee. Outside of Harvard Kenney coached juniors volleyball for Smash Volleyball Club 15-1. From 2007-2008 she coached Beach Volleyball for the Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos Beach Volleyball Camp, and served as camp director in 2008.

Kenney graduated from BC with a bachelor[apos]s of arts degree in history and human development. At Harvard, she continued her education and earned a master[apos]s of education in human development and psychology in 2012.
