Olivia Witherite joined the UConn Sports Medicine staff in the spring of 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer for the field hockey and track & field programs.
Witherite comes to UConn after working at Hempfield High School in Greensburg, Pa., where she worked with a number of HS 6A teams. Prior to Hempfield, she completed her residency during graduate school with Slippery Rock University’s Division II Football program in the fall of 2021.
Witherite completed her M.S. in athletic training at Slippery Rock and became BOC certified in the spring of 2022. Before graduate school, Olivia earned her B.S. in Exercise Science in the spring of 2021 from Slippery Rock.
Witherite is a native of Brookville, Pa.
