At UConn: Showed some real improvement at the end of his freshman year. He was a consolation finalist in the 1650-yard freestyle in 2011 at the Big EAst Championship and he is on UConn[apos]s all-time top ten list for the 400-yard IM and 1650-yard freestyle. He has been a leader throughout his career and was named a captain this season as a senior. He should be solid in the butterfly and IM events.

Achievements: Member of the BIG EAST All-Academic team...Learning Group Leader...Dean[apos]s list student...was high school record holder in the 500-yard freestyle.
