As a Senior (2018): Named co-captain prior to the seasonโฆAppeared and started in 20 matchesโฆEarned unanimous selection to the AAC All-Conference First Team and took home the conferenceโs Defensive Player of the Year awardโฆSelected to United Soccer All-East Region First TeamโฆFour-time AAC Defensive Player of the Week, including three consecutive selections from Oct. 2 to Oct. 16โฆInstrumental part in UConn forcing five shutout wins, third-most in the league including three during a 10-game unbeaten streak between Sept. 8 and Oct. 23 in which it limited its opponents to two goals or less and forced three shutoutsโฆTallied two assists.
AS A JUNIOR (2017): Started in 17 matches this season for the HuskiesโฆChosen as a team co-captain at the start of the yearโฆEarned his first-career selection to the American Athletic Conference All-First Team after serving as a key piece in the UConn defenseโฆSelected to the United Soccer All-East Regionย Third Team...Named AAC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 9 and 16โฆHelped UConn allow just a 0.96 goals against average, third-best in the AmericanโฆInstrumental part in UConnโs eight shutout wins.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Started in 18 games for UConn at center back...Helped the Huskies defense record a conference-leading 0.77 goals against average.
Before UConn: Played at Tyler Junior College in 2015, placing secondย in the National Championship... Played for the FC Sounders Academy U14-U18, and continues to participate in Sounders training when in Seattle... Played for both NW Nationals Premier club for five years and the ODP State and Regional teams as a striker and midfielder, as well as center back.... Earned a pair of varsity letters for the two years he played at Kings High School in Seattle, Wash. under head coach Frank Lopezโฆ Named to the All-City Team and was tabbed as the squadโs offensive MVP.ย
