2024-25: Appeared in all 39 games for the Huskies during his sophomore season. Finished the season with 29 goals with 18 assists for 47 total points...Muldowney finished second in the country with 29 goals scored... Following December 25, Muldowney had 25 goals in 23 games for the Huskies, and set program records for most hat tricks in a single season (3), most goals in a single season (29), and most points in a single season (47). Named AHCA Second Team All-American, New England Hockey Writers Association Most Improved Player, and Hockey East Second Team All-Star. Was named to All-Tournament Teams for Hockey East and NCAA Allentown Regional.
2023-24: Appeared in 35 games for the Huskies during his freshman year, scoring five goals with four assists for nine total points. All five of his goals came in the second half of the season highlighted by two goals against the University of Vermont March 7 2024.
Before UConn: Muldowney comes to Storrs following a stint with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL…Appeared in 64 games with the Buccaneers scoring 16 goals with 15 assists for 31 total points… Helped lead Des Moines to the playoffs where he played in two games scoring one goal with three assists for four points… Prior to his time in the USHL Muldowney spent one year with the Nichols school where he played in 56 games, scoring 57 goals with 40 assists for 97 points.
