Before UConn: Finished his high school career playing for head coach David Prince at South Florence high school in South Carolina. In his senior season McDuffie finished with 58 tackles and 12 tackles for a loss… Was a selection and played in the North Carolina vs. South Carolina Shrine Bowl All-Star game. Following high school committed to play football at Old Dominion University. In 2021 McDuffie played in all 13 games, registering 28 tackles, four sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss.
