Prior to UConn: Murphy is a wide receiver who comes to Storrs after spending last season at Arizona…He will have one year of eligibility remaining…Last fall he appeared in four games for the Wildcats, making two catches for 38 yards…Transferred to Arizona after playing the 2023 season at Old Dominion…He appeared in all 13 games, starting eight at wide receiver and finished third on the team with 28 receptions…He led the team with 502 receiving yards and scored three touchdowns…He finished 27th in the country averaging 17.9 yards per catch…Prior to going to ODU, he recorded 17 catches for 297 yards and three touchdowns at the College of San Mateo in 2022…Attended Santa Margarita HS.
