2016: Started all 12 games, splitting time as a cornerback and safety...Ended the season with 59 tackles, 4.0 TFL's, two interceptions, nine pass breakups and one fumble recovery...Against Navy (Sept. 10) recovered a fumble and returned it 86 yards for a touchdown...Logged a career-high 10 tackles vs. Syracuse (Sept. 24)...Recorded eight tackles and grabbed an interception vs. Tulane (Nov. 26).
2015: First Team All-American Athletic Conference and First Team All-New England by the NE Football Writers' Association..was third nationally in interceptions per game at 0.6 per game and was first in the American...started 12 of 13 games and enters junior year with 25 career games with 17 starts...had 39 tackles on the season and three pass break-ups..recorded critical interceptions in UConn's last three wins of the season...in the win vs. East Carolina (Oct. 30), had two with the first coming in the closing seconds of the first half with ECU driving...returned a pick 67-yards for a touchdown in the win vs. Tulane (Sept. 7) -- UConn's only score in a 7-3 win....had a total of vie tackles in that game...in win over nationally-ranked Houston (Nov. 21), intercepted the ball in the final minute of the game at the UConn 29 as the Cougars had been driving for a potential game-winning score...also recorded an interception in the St. Petersburg Bowl vs. Marshall (Dec. 26)...had a career-high eight tackles at Missouri (Sept. 19).
2014: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, starting the final five at cornerback...finished the year with 22 tackles...recorded his first career interception vs. SMU (Dec. 6)...had four tackles in games at No. 18 East Carolina (Oct. 23) and at Army (Nov. 8)...recorded pass breakups vs. Cincinnati (Nov. 22) and at Memphis (Nov. 29). High School: Played high school football at Orange High School...was named honorable mention All-State by MSG Varsity and first team All-Essex County by the Newark Star-Ledger...spent the 2013 season at Milford Academy (New Berlin, N.Y.) and led the team in interceptions with five and had 20 tackles on the season...was also a standout track and field performer in high school.
