UConn Football A-Z Fan Guide
UConn encourages and promotes good sporting behavior by student-athletes, coaches, staff, and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, or any disparaging comments on the basis of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ability, religion, or any other aspects of someone’s identity, or intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. If you find you need assistance at an athletic contest, please notify the nearest event staff member or security personnel.
ADA
- Seating: ADA seating is issued on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information or if you need ADA seating, please call 1-877-AT-UCONN (1-877-288-2666) M-F 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Animals: Service animals or service animals in training are welcome at the stadium.
- Concessions: All full-service concession stands are ADA accessible.
- Entrances: All entrance gates are ADA accessible.
- Parking: All parking lots are ADA accessible and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A person with an ADA state placard or license plate must be in the vehicle.
- Restrooms: All restrooms are ADA accessible.

Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field is located at 615 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT 06118.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Any attempt to bring outside alcohol into the stadium is a violation of facility regulations and may result in the guest being denied admittance, ejected, arrested, and/or tickets being revoked. Alcohol is available for purchase for individuals 21 and older inside the stadium.
- Intoxicated Guests: UConn Division of Athletics reserves the right to deny entry or sale of alcohol to any guest that appears to be intoxicated. These individuals may be ejected from the stadium and/or subject to legal action.
ANIMALS
Animals are not permitted inside the stadium except for service animals and service animals in training, and of course Jonathan XIV. Guests with service animals may request ADA seating.
BABY CHANGING STATIONS
Baby changing stations are available in all restrooms including the family restrooms located behind Sections 101, 118, 127 & 135.
BAG POLICY
All bags must adhere to the 12” x 6” x 12” approved bags policy and will be searched upon entry to the stadium. Diaper bags are permitted in the company of a small child and subject to inspection at all entrances. Bags carrying medical needs are also permitted and are subject to inspection at all entrances. BINOCULARS
Guests are welcome to bring their own binoculars in the stadium and are subject to inspection at all entrances.
BROADCASTS
- Television: All home games will be televised on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN). Television information for away games are updated on UConnHuskies.com.

CAMERAS/VIDEO CAMERAS
Cameras with lenses that exceed 3” or that have a removable lens are prohibited inside the stadium. Video cameras are prohibited inside the stadium. Hand-held still cameras are allowed for personal use only and may not be used for advertising, promotion, other trade purposes or any other commercial or promotional endeavor, without the permission of UConn Athletics.
CHILD TICKET POLICY
All persons over the age of 2 years old must have a ticket for admission.
CONCESSIONS
Please view the Stadium Concessions Map. Full-service and satellite concession stands are located throughout the concourse and accept all major credit/debit cards ONLY. Cash will not be accepted. Alcohol is available for purchase for individuals 21 and older.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
All major credit and debit cards are accepted at the Box Office, team fan shops and at all concession stands. Cash is no longer being accepted at all concession stands.
DRONES
Drones are strictly prohibited in and around the stadium.
EMERGENCY
In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 or notify the nearest event staff member or security personnel.
ENTRY
Walk-through metal detectors are in place and enforced at each gate entrance. Guests DO NOT need to remove belts, shoes or jackets. Guest DO need to remove cell phones, cameras, headwear, keys and other large metal objects.

Fan Fest presented by Powerstation Events is located inside the stadium, behind the scoreboard by Gate E and will begin 90 minutes prior to gametime. FAN SHUTTLES

FIRST AID/EMS
A first aid station is located on the concourse behind Section 104 inside Gate B. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 or notify the nearest event staff member or security personnel.
GAME PROGRAMS
Roster cards are free and available at all gates.
GATES OPEN
Pratt & Whitney Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to game time. Executive Suite and Indoor Club Level premium hospitality areas open 2 hours prior to game time.
GUEST SERVICES
Guest Services is located behind Section 105 and Section 120. Gameday ambassadors can also be found at each stadium gate entrance as well as throughout the concourse to provide any assistance, information or answer any questions on gameday.
HUSKY WALK
Kickoff your gameday with a UConn Football tradition and greet the team as they arrive at the stadium. The Husky Walk takes place approximately 3 hours before game time at Gate C.
LEARFIELD
Learfield is UConn Athletics’ multimedia rights partner and provides businesses the opportunity to align themselves with one of the most recognizable and successful brands in college athletics. LOST & FOUND
During the event please report any lost items or turn in any found items to Guest Services located behind Section 105 and Section 120. After the event please contact Stadium Operations at 860-610-4766.
LOST GUESTS
Please contact the nearest event staff member or security personnel should a member of your party become separated or lost. Tag-A-Guest wristbands are available at Guest Services located behind Section 105 and Section 120. The wristband allows guests to write in the contact name and information should someone become separated or lost.
MASK POLICY
Masks are not required at Rentschler Field.
MEDIA/PRESS
Press/Media members enter the stadium at Gate B. Valid photo identification is required to pick up tickets or credentials left at Press/Media will call. Upon entry, bags will be searched and tagged upon approval. Only personnel with credentials are permitted into the designated Press/Media areas. Press/Media parking is available in the Orange Lot. Please email william.peterson@uconn.edu to request media credentials and/or parking.
MARCHING BAND
The UConn Marching Band, "The Pride of Connecticut," is an exciting part of the gameday experience. The UCMB performs during the Pregame Show (20 minutes before kickoff), halftime and again after the game facing the North stands. The band sits in sections 113 & 114 during the game.
MERCHANDISE
The official UConn team merchandise store has locations inside the stadium at Gates A, B, C and D. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.
MOBILE TICKETS
UConn Athletics tickets are distributed through mobile delivery and accessed by smartphones. Please see our Mobile Tickets guide to assist with downloading, transferring and accepting mobile tickets.
Season Ticket Holders: This season, we are introducing the ALL-IN-1 pass. The ALL-IN-1 pass is a smart ticket that will simplify your digital wallet. Add each ALL-IN-1 ticket once per seat and it will automatically update for each home game. The ALL-IN-1 pass consolidates your entire season into a single pass/ticket on your digital wallet.
PARKING
Parking lots open 5 hours prior to game time for Season Ticket Holders and 4 hours prior to game time for single game buyers. Season parking pass holders can park anywhere in the Blue Lot. Single game parking is available in Grey Lot. Groups of 10 or more can park in Lot 9.
Select season tickets receive complimentary season parking passes based on seat type. Additional passes and/or season parking passes can be purchased for $105 for vehicles and $155 for RV’s. Single game parking passes are $20 for vehicles and $50 for RVs and busses and can be purchased at UConnTickets.com or with cash or credit card on-site.

PROHIBITED ITEMS/ACTIONS
All guests are subject to search at the discretion of UConn Athletics. All guests with prohibited items will be required to return the items to their vehicles or dispose of them. UConn Athletics reserves the right to deny anyone or anything from entering the stadium.
- The following actions are prohibited: Throwing or kicking objects in the seating areas; Unauthorized entry into the playing surface; Disorderly conduct (including the use of profanity or offensive language); Standing or sitting in the aisles, ramps, or walkways; Ticket scalping (inside or outside the stadium), Smoking.
- The following items are prohibited: Any outside alcoholic beverages; Animals (except service animals or service animals in training); Any outside food and beverage; Artificial noisemakers; Audio and video recording equipment; Bags larger than 12”X 6”X 12” (height x width x depth) and backpacks (diaper bags are permitted in the company of a small child); Balloons; Coolers, Cans, Glass Bottles or Flasks; Drones; Drugs; Laptops; Laser pointers; Promotional items with commercial identification not approved by UConn; Seatbacks larger than 16” x 16” x 12” (height x width x depth); Umbrellas; Weapons of any kind (including concealed carry).
RADIOS
Hand-held pocket-sized portable radios are allowed in the stadium. Please be considerate of other guests and use an earpiece to listen to your radio.
RE-ENTRY POLICY
There is no re-entry permitted at the stadium.
RESTROOMS
Men’s restrooms are located behind Sections 102, 109, 114, 117, 124, 128, 136 & 140.
Women’s restrooms are located behind Sections 100, 108, 111, 112, 118, 123, 127, 135 & 138.
Family restrooms are located behind Sections 101, 118, 127 & 135.
All restrooms are ADA accessible and equipped with baby changing stations.
RIDESHARE
All rideshare companies have a designated drop-off and pick-up location at the stadium located at the corner of Lot 7 and Lot 9.
RV PARKING
RV parking is available in Lot 9. Season RV parking passes are $155 and single game passes are $50. Single game passes can be purchased here.

SEATBACKS
Padded single-game seatback rentals will be available for $10 per game and can be purchased at the stadium on gameday at each stadium gate entrance.
Personal seatbacks are permitted but must adhere to the 16” x 16” x 12” approved seatback policy and will be checked upon entry to the stadium. All other seatbacks are prohibited. Any seatback that exceeds the size requirements will not be permitted and must be returned to your vehicle.
SIGNS/BANNERS/POSTERS
UConn Athletics reserves the right to remove any signs or banners at any time. All signs must be handheld, event related, in good taste and cannot obstruct another guest’s view. Signs may not contain commercial messages, logos or political endorsements and may not obscure stadium signage. Any signs determined to be obscene, vulgar, indecent, inappropriate, or derogatory will not be permitted. Signs or flags on sticks or poles are not permitted. Guests with unpermitted signs will be asked to return them to their vehicle or dispose of them upon entry.
SMOKING/TOBACCO POLICY
Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, is prohibited inside the stadium. Anyone in violation of this policy may be ejected from the stadium.

STROLLERS
Strollers are not permitted in any seating areas. Patrons are encouraged to leave them safely stored inside their vehicles. UConn Athletics assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged strollers, or content in the strollers, and are stored at the owner’s risk.
TAILGATING
Tailgating is permitted on stadium grounds. Parking lots open 5 hours prior to game time for season parking pass holders and 4 hours prior to game time for single game parking pass holders. For more information, please see our Tailgating Policies page.

UCONN STUDENT SEATING & TICKETS
UConn student tickets are free for athletics events. Students are encouraged to claim their ticket online prior to the game. Students may also claim a ticket at the gate with their Student ID. All student tickets are first-come, first-served, while supplies last. All undergraduate, graduate and transfer students all regional UConn campuses (Storrs, Hartford, Avery Point, Stamford or Waterbury), as well as School of Law and UConn Health (School of Medicine and School of Dental Medicine) enrolled for the 2023 semester can claim a free tickets. Umbrellas are prohibited inside the stadium.
