Cross Country: A part of a 2017 cross country team that won its first AAC XC Championship on Oct. 28th...Ran in six races...Finished fourth overall at UB Stampede XC Invite at 21:52.7 at 6K...At UMass Minuteman XC Invitational, finished fifth overall with best 5K time of 18:01.8...Best 6K time at Paul Short Gold at 21:23.0.

Indoor: Competed at six meets in 3000, Mile, 1000, and 4x800...Five top-10 finishes...3000 - 9:47.39 at Scarlet and White Invitational, Mile - 4:56.18 at conference indoor championships, 1000 - 2:57.36 at Nittany Lion Challenge, and 4x800 - 9:19.34 at same meet.

Outdoor: Competed at six meets in 5000, 3000S, and1500...Tallied five top-15 finishes...Took second at UConn Northeast Challenge in 5000 with a time of 18:08.88...Bests: 5000 - 18:05.84 at conference outdoor championships, 3000S - 10:54.00 at Florida Relays, and 1500 - 4:45.44 at Sam Howell Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-2017)

Outdoor: Placed fifth in 3000m steeplechase (11:08.65) at UCF Black and Gold Challenge...Bronze medal in 4x8 (8:47.32) at the Florida Relays...Third place in 3000m steeplechase (11:12.66) at UConn Northeast Challenge...Finished fifth in 3000m steeplechase (10:38.70) at American Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN (2015-2016)

Cross Country: Ran at NEICAAA XC Championship, 5K, and finished with a time of 21:05.4.

Indoor: A part of a 2016 indoor team that second consecutive indoor American Athletic Conference championship...Finished in fourth in the distance medley relay (12:04.15) at the Yale Collegiate Invitational...Gold medal finish in the distance medley relay (11:43.80) at the Nittany Lion Challenge...Placed first in 4x8 (8:58.79) at the NYC Gotham Cup.

Outdoor: Took sixth in the 800m (2:26.79) at the Sam Howell Invitational...Finished 10th in the 800m (2:19.00) at the Brown Springtime Open.

Before UConn: Competed at Tolland High School under head coach Corey Bernier… Served as both indoor and outdoor team captain as an upperclassman… An All-New England selection in the 4x800m…An All-American in the 4xMile and DMR…. Also collected a pair of varsity letters on the soccer team, earning MVP honors as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Albert and Ann Swanson… Has three sisters, Joanne (22), Sarah (20), and Caitlin (17)… Undecided on a major at UConn.??????
