Before UConn: Attended Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, NY where he was in National Honor Society and Science Honor Society...In addition, he was awarded Most Outstanding Swimmer of Section 9 Award twice and 2018 Section 9 Sportsmanship Award...Holds multiple school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 breastroke, 200 medley relay and Section record holder in the 100 breastroke.
