UConn Invitational Second Round Cancelled; Final Round Set for Tuesday

STORRS, CT - Monday's second round of the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse and been canceled due to the persistent rain and amount of water on the course. The event will be shortened to 36 holes with the final 18 holes on Tuesday.

The first round was played on Sunday with Rhode Island at the top of the leaderboard at +6 (294) as a team. Providence, Bryant and Fairfield are all tied for second place a stroke back (295). The Huskies are in 10th (312), tied with Sacred Heart. URI's Tony Liu is at the top of the player leaderboard at -4 with Callan Fahey a stroke back.

The final round will get underway at 8:30 am on Tuesday morning.
