Huskies Post Seventh-Place Finish at Princeton Meadows Challenge

PRINCETON, N.J. - UConn women's cross country finished seventh at the Princeton Meadows Challenge on Saturday morning. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the Huskies put together a strong race to finish in the top 10, placing ahead of BIG EAST opponents Villanova and Georgetown.
Sasha Letica paced the Huskies with a time of 20:47.9, followed by Brooke Strauss (20:48.9) and Allison Wasson (20:50.0). Malin Rahm finished in 21:02.1, followed by Claire Paci (21:32.1). Loghan Hughes crossed the finish line in 21:43.4, while Courtney Krawiecki recorded a time of 21:48.7. Hayley Martin (21:56.2) and Samantha Moore (22:57.5) rounded out the Huskies' lineup.
The Huskies return to action on Oct. 16 at Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Indiana.
