Tyler Muszelik Signs Entry Level Contract with Florida Panthers

STORRS, Conn. – Following the completion of the 2025-26 UConn men's hockey season, senior Tyler Muszelik (Long Valley, New Jersey) signed a two-year entry level contract with the National Hockey League's (NHL) Florida Panthers beginning with the 2026-27 season.
During the 2025-26 season, Muszelik posted a 19-11-5 overall record with a .926 save percentage and 2.21 goals against average. Muszelik helped lead UConn to consecutive Hockey East Championship appearances and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. Additionally, Muszelik ranked fifth in the nation in save percentage among goaltenders with at least 30 appearances during the 2025-26 season.
