Fudd Named AAU Sullivan Award Finalist

NEW YORK – UConn women's basketball graduate student Azzi Fudd was selected as a finalist for the 96th annual AAU Sullivan Award.
A public vote running through March 5 will determine the award's winner. Fans can vote for Fudd HERE.
Fudd is playing her best college basketball in her final season in Storrs. She has set single-season career bests already in points, rebounds, assists and steals and is shooting career highs from the field (49.0), three (45.4) and free-throw line (95.0).
Fudd ranks third nationally in three pointers made (88), ninth in three-point percentage (45.4) and fourth in defensive win shares (2.8). Against top-25 opponents this season, she is averaging 4.4 points on a .500/.468/1.000 shooting split.
Fudd was the 2025 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player, leading the Huskies to the 2025 NCAA Championship.
Fudd is also on the Naismith Trophy Late-Season Team, the Wooden Award late midseason watch list and Ann Meyers Drysdale candidate list.
The AAU Sullivan Award honors the most outstanding collegiate, Olympic or similar-level athlete in the United States. It has been presented annually by the AAU since 1930 as a salute to the founder and past president of the Amateur Athletic Union, and a pioneer in amateur sports.
The winner of the 96th AAU Sullivan Award will be announced at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the historic New York Athletic Club.
