Azzi Fudd to Join Huskies of Honor on Nov. 8

STORRS, Conn. – UConn women's basketball alumna Azzi Fudd will officially join the Huskies of Honor on Sunday, Nov. 8, ahead of the Huskies' game vs. Iowa in Gampel Pavilion.

Fudd will be inducted into the Huskies of Honor in a pregame ceremony approximately 30 minutes before tipoff, which is scheduled for 2 p.m.
As a senior last season, Fudd was named a 2026 WBCA, AP First Team and USBWA First Team All-American, making her eligible to join the Huskies of Honor in the rafters of Gampel.
During Fudd's five seasons in Storrs, the Huskies won the 2025 NCAA Championship, competed in two NCAA Championship games, advanced to four NCAA Final Fours and won 10 BIG EAST championships.
She was named the 2026 CSC Academic All-America Team Member of the Year and the BIG EAST Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Fudd was selected as the 2025 NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player and is a two-time All-BIG EAST First Team and BIG EAST All-Tournament Team selection. She was named to the 2022 NCAA Tournament Bridgeport All-Region Team and 2026 NCAA Fort Worth Regional 1 All-Region Team.
Fudd compiled 1,687 points, 270 rebounds, 241 assists and 191 steals in her collegiate career. She ranks No. 21 in program history in career points and No. 5 in career three pointers made (292). Fudd is No. 1 in UConn history in career free throw percentage (92.5%).
Fudd was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Wings in the 2026 WNBA Draft. She was named to the 2026 Associated Press WNBA All-Rookie Team after averaging 13.1 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Her steals average led all rookies, and she became the first rookie in league history to win the WNBA 3-Point Contest at All-Star Weekend.
Fudd is a two-time UConn graduate. She earned her bachelor's degree in communication in 2024 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 2026.
