Longtime partners to place UConn Health branding on Menโs and Womenโs Basketball uniforms beginning with the 2026-27 season
STORRS, CT โ UConn Athletics today announced a significant expansion of its longstanding partnership with the University of Connecticut's health system, UConn Health. Beginning with the 2026-27 season, the agreement will place the UConn Health logo on the home and away uniforms of UConn Men's and Women's Basketball โ a first for UConn and among the largest integrated sponsorships in program history.
UConn Health serves as the primary medical care provider for UConn Athletics, with UConn Health physicians providing care to UConn student-athletes across the department's athletic programs.
UConn Health has been a partner of UConn Athletics for several decades, and this agreement reflects the continued growth of a relationship rooted in a shared pursuit of excellence โ excellence in health care and excellence on the court. In addition to jersey branding, the partnership now includes group licensing opportunities with UConn student-athletes, digital and social media integration, and continued collaboration on community health and wellness initiatives across the state.

Beginning with the 2026-27 season, the UConn Health logo will appear on uniforms for all home, away and neutral-site games during the preseason and regular season. UConn Health will continue to enjoy additional benefits, such as in-venue signage and radio advertising, associated with its existing sponsorship with UConn Athletics' multimedia rights partner, Learfield.
UConn Health and UConn Athletics will work together to plan activations and identify additional opportunities to support UConn Health's community health and wellness initiatives โ two organizations defined by excellence, now united on the uniform, continuing a partnership built on mutual commitments to Connecticut.
