MHOC Announces 2025-26 Schedule

STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men's hockey team has announced their schedule for the 2025-26 season. The 34-game regular slate includes 17 home games, a 24-game Hockey East schedule, and the annual appearance in the CT Ice tournament. The Huskies will face off against six teams that appeared in the 2024-25 NCAA Tournament.
The Huskies will host 13 home games at the Toscano Family Ice Forum in Storrs this season, with the remaining four games being played at the People's Bank Arena in Hartford. The Huskies will host Ohio State (Oct. 18), Stonehill (Nov.25), UMass Lowell (Jan. 9) and Boston College (Feb. 21) in their downtown Hartford home.
The Huskies will kick off the season out west as they travel to face Colorado College for a two-game series beginning on Friday, Oct. 3. The Huskies will then return to CT as they welcome BIGTEN foe Ohio State for a two-game series beginning Fri. Oct. 17. The Huskies will host two more non-conference opponents in the first half, taking on Harvard (Oct. 31) and Stonehill (Nov.25).
UConn opens Hockey East play on the road to kick off a home and home series with the 2024 NCAA Tournament Runner up Boston University beginning in Beantown on Oct. 24. The Huskies will then host Merrimack on November 1st before closing out the first half with home and home matchups against Providence (Nov.7-8), Northeastern (Nov.14-15), New Hampshire (Nov.21-22) and Merrimack (Dec. 5-6).
To open the second half, UConn will play a home-and-home against Long Island University, welcoming the Sharks to Storrs on New Years Eve and ringing in 2026 on Long Island on Jan.3. The Huskies will pick up Hockey East action with a home-and-home with UMass Lowell (Jan. 9-10) followed by a two-game home series against the University of Vermont. The Huskies will then wrap up their non-conference schedule with a return to the CT Ice Tournament, looking to defend their crown beginning Jan 23 in New Haven hosted by Yale University.
The final stretch of the season sees the Huskies hitting the road with six away matchups. UConn will travel to Northeastern on February 6th and ship up to Maine for a two-game series (Feb.13-14). The Huskies will conclude the away slate with Hockey East showdowns against Boston College (Feb.20), Massachusetts (Feb.28) and Providence (Mar.7). UConn will wrap up their home games against Boston College (Feb.21), Massachusetts (Feb. 27) and New Hampshire (Mar. 5).
