Strong Named to USA Basketball 3x3 Women’s Series Roster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – UConn women's basketball sophomore forward Sarah Strong will represent the United States on the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Women's Series beginning May 23-24 in Marseille, France.
The USA's season begins Friday at the Marseille Women's Series event in Marseille, France. As part of Qualifying Draw A, USA will face Ireland and Madrid on Friday at 7:15 a.m. and 8:25 a.m. ET, respectively. If they win the four-team Qualifying Draw, USA will be placed in Pool D and play Poland and Netherlands U25 at 9:50 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. ET, respectively.
Strong, who last month won the 2025 NCAA Championship with UConn, is a three-time FIBA 3x3 U18 Women's World Cup champion in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Last summer, she also won gold at the FIBA U18 Women's AmeriCup in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

3x3 is played on a half court with a 10-minute clock and a 12-second shot clock. The first team to 21 points, or the team in the lead at the end of regulation, is the winner.
