Eliza Bowman Named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week

STORRS, Conn.- Graduate student Eliza Bowman (Darien, Conn.) was named BIG EAST Attacker of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday. Bowman tied a program-record for goals in a single game, putting 8 past UMass in a 19-16 victory on Saturday.
Bowman's offensive output matched the single game record set by Grace Nolan three times in 2018 (3/18, 4/13 & 4/18), Kelsey Catalano on 4/7/18, and most recently Sydney Watson on 2/21/20. Bowman leads the Huskies with 20 goals on the season.
The 23rd ranked Huskies return to action on Saturday on the road against University at Albany at 1:00pm, with the game streaming on ESPN+.
