Hear from Head Coach Beth Alford-Sullivan:
"A tremendous team result from the Huskies in the 51st Paul Short Run. We had a full squad racing at the full 6K race distance. Our freshmen handled things well, and our returners improved tremendously on this course from a year ago.
Brooke Strauss continues her strong freshman season, finishing as the top true freshman in the field today. Sascha Letica performed strongly as well, finishing as the second true freshman. A huge improvement from team captain Chloe Trudel as our number two runner.
We needed this race to give us an opportunity to see our BIG EAST opponents and get our noses dirty in competition. With the graduation of our top three from last season, this team is figuring out who will carry the torch as the front-runners. We are looking forward to competing in Princeton in two weeks!"
