Football Loses 49-0 to Purdue

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. - The UConn football team lost 49-0 to the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday afternoon at Pratt and Whitney Stadium.
Steven Krajewski got the start at quarterback for the Huskies and completed 14 passes for 99 yards while rushing for 42 yardson 11 carries.
Aaron Tuner led the Huskies with three catches while Robert Burns added 35 yards on the ground.
Jackson Mitchell led UConn on the defensive side of the ball with 14 tackles while Ian Swenson and Travis Jones each recorded a sack.
The Huskies will head on the road next week to square off against Army on Saturday, September 18 at 12 p.m.
