Freshman Caleb Manuel (Topsham, Me.) was UConn's top overall finisher at the regional, recording a 3-over 74 in Round 3 to complete a solid 2-over, 72-69-74=215, good enough for a tie for 28th place in the 75-player field.

UConn's 5-over, 289 on Tuesday was its best aggregate total of the three-day regional and gave the Huskies a final total of 301-305-289=895, placing the Huskies 12th in the field.
The top five finishing teams in the regional – Vanderbilt, Arkansas, San Diego State, North Carolina State, and Clemson – will move on to the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz.
