"Honestly, it was so close," stated head coach Lindsay Crevoiserat. "We closed hard, executed perfectly. We wanted to be in position into the last stretch, and we did that and closed even harder than I would have hoped."
"Our goal was to get three runners in the top-ten, and we got four. Couldn't be prouder of this group."
The Huskies top-four finished fifth, sixth, seventh and ninth. Leading the way senior Randi Burr (Westerly, R.I.) who was fifth with a time of 20:50.8. Freshman Jenna Zydanowicz (West Hartford, Con..) had her best finish of the season with a sixth-place spot in a time of 20:51.2. Senior Danielle Jordan (Clifton Park, ) took seventh with a clocking of 20:51.4 and classmate Mia Nahom (New Milford, Conn.) rounded out the Huskies all-conference picks with a ninth-place finish n 20:55.4.

"I don't think the rest of the of the league thought we were going to be as strong today as we were," commented Crevoiserat. "We just have been going out and proving we could do it this season and we did that again today. We definitely surprised some folks and I think being back in the BIG EAST, today we set a great tone for the future."
The women ran great, I am really happy for them," stated Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Greg Roy. "It was great to watch them and Coach Crevoiserat has that team on a great trajectory for whats to come."
