Basketball Flex Pack Vouchers Now Available

As the month of November rolls around, for many that's a sign it's basketball season. That is, UConn Basketball season.

The flex pack voucher is a new single-game ticket option announced last week by UConn Athletics that is intended to better meet the needs of today's UConn Basketball fan by providing two things: affordable pricing and flexibility.

Today's basketball fan has to consider and weigh several factors when deciding to purchase tickets and the flex pack voucher creates an option with minimal commitment upfront to allow fans to make decisions when they want and how they want.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

A minimum of six vouchers must be purchased
Each voucher is $15, therefore six vouchers is a total of $90
Fans can purchase up to any quantity of vouchers (e.g. 10 for $150, 15 for $225, 20 for $300, etc.)
Vouchers can be used for either men's OR women's basketball games
Vouchers can be used for games at either the XL Center OR Gampel Pavilion
Vouchers can be redeemed in any quantity and in any combination of regular season home games (see example below)
Vouchers are redeemed for game tickets once you know what games you want to go to

HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OF HOW IT WORKS:

Geno purchases 10 vouchers at $15 each for a total of $150 online at UConnTickets.com.

He redeems two vouchers for the regular season home opener on Sunday, November 11 versus Ohio State at Gampel for Jonathan and his buddy to attend.
He redeems two more vouchers for the men's basketball season home opener on Thursday, November 8 vs. Morehead State to cheer on head coach Dan Hurley at his first regular-season game at Gampel.
With total of six vouchers remaining, Geno uses four vouchers for the first women's basketball game at the XL Center Thursday, November 15 for his family.
For the final two vouchers out of the original 10 he purchased, he redeems them for the men's basketball conference home opener in January at the XL Center when the Huskies host UCF.

Geno can decide immediately how and when he wants to use some or all of his vouchers, or he can wait and see how his schedule pans out and make decisions later. Whenever he decides to use them, all he has to do is log on to his account online at UConnTickets.com, log into his account and follow the step by step process to redeem vouchers for specific game tickets.

Do I need to know my games up front?

No. The only decision you make upfront is how many vouchers you want to purchase. You can then redeem vouchers for game tickets in any combination (men's or women's games at either XL Center or Gampel Pavilion) at any time after you purchase. However, the option is available if you would like to redeem vouchers for tickets immediately.

The earlier you pick the games the better seat locations you will have to choose from and all tickets are first-come, first-served while supplies last.

Do I need to redeem all of my vouchers up front?

No. After you purchase flex pack vouchers you can redeem them in any quantity for any combination of games (men's or women's games at either XL Center or Gampel Pavilion). You have the option to redeem all of them up front or at once, but one of the benefits is that you don't have to and can wait to redeem them until you know what games you want to attend.

Do I need to buy a certain amount of games?

Yes. You are required to purchase a minimum of six vouchers that can be used in any combination of games (men's or women's games at either XL Center or Gampel Pavilion). You can purchase up to any quantity after purchasing the minimum.

How can I choose my games?

However you would like. There are no exclusions to any of the regular season home games therefore you can choose any game(s) based on what's best for you or what games you want to attend. The earlier you pick the games the better seat locations you will have to choose from and all tickets are first-come, first-served while supplies last.

What is the best way to get the best seats using flex pack vouchers?

Do I need to buy a men's and a women's?

No. Flex pack vouchers can be used for either men's or women's basketball games and for games at either venue at the XL Center in Hartford or Gampel Pavilion on campus in Storrs.
