Huskies Lose at Stony Brook, 6-1

STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The UConn men's tennis team lost their final road match of the season on Friday, dropping a 6-1 decision at Stony Brook University. The Huskies are now 8-11 on the season.
The Seawolves won the doubles point with wins at No.1 and No.3. In singles action, SBU took the No.1 through No.5 matches to win the day.
The Huskies lone point came at No.6 singles where sophomore Jack McLister (Leesburg, Va.) came up with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Finn Kemper, his seventh singles win on the year. At No.3 singles, freshman Jacob Appleton (Farmington, Conn.) lost a tough three-set battle with Rodrigo Hadlich, 6-7, 7-5 and 10-1.
UConn will close out the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a home match in Storrs against the St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers at 12 noon.
