UConn Back in Action Friday at Valentine Invitational

STORRS, Conn. - With the indoor conference championship right around the corner, the University of Connecticut women's track and field team is back in action on Friday, Feb. 10 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, hosted by Boston University at the BU Track and Tennis Center in Boston.
Competition is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. on Friday with the jumps and the throws. The track events will begin at 1 p.m. with the 60m hurdles and the women's competition will wrap-up at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Huskies are coming off a successful performance at the Armory Collegiate Invite last weekend in New York City. Connecticut finished 14th overall in a field of 31 teams.
Senior Taylor Anderson was a staple in UConn's success as usual as she recorded yet another top-time in the conference, running the 60m in 7.46 seconds. Anderson, along with junior Elise Anderson and freshman Alexis Gwynn, will open the track events Friday with the 60m dash.
