Final Results
STORRS, Conn - The UConn men's and women's swimming and diving teams captured a meet victory on Friday night against Army at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium, 348.5-251.5. The Huskies split the meet with the women's side delivering a dominant 203-97 triumph while the men narrowly lost, 154.4-145.5.
Sophomore Eliza Manning (Frederick, Md.) won three individual events with season-best times in the 50 Free (23.98) and100 Free (51.74). Manning also earned a win in the 200 IM, finishing in 2:05.84
Senior Emma Smith decisively took first place finish in the 500 and 1000 Free distance events. The Nepean, Ontario native scored a six-second margin of victory in the 500 (5:04:06) and eight-second gap in the 1000 (10:22.08).

Erin Clifford (Westtown, N.Y.) delivered a pair of wins on the diving end of the pool. The freshman logged a 255.07 score in the 1-meter and 248.10 in the 3-meter dive.
The women's 400 freestyle relay secured the top spot with a time of 3:31.49. Megan Wenman, Maddy Blair, Brazil Rule and Jackie Van Lew recorded the win for the Huskies.
On the men's side, Will Kearsey secured three individual wins in the 100 Back, 200 Back, 200 IM and swam the first leg in a 200 Medley Relay win.
Freshman Joshua Wroblewski (Farmington, Conn.) notched a first place finish in the 500 Free (4:34.04).

Senior diver Dan Kinney (Middletown, Conn.) dominated his events with a pair of wins in the 1-meter (316.17) and 3-meter (299.07). The 1-meter score of 316 met the NCAA Standards and qualifies Kinney for the NCAA Diving Zones in New Brunswick, N.J. March 5-7, 2018.
Next up, the swimmers head to Indianapolis for the House of Champions event from Friday Nov. 17 to Sunday, Nov. 19. During that time, the divers will be in New Brunswick, N.J. for the Frank Elm Invitational.
