Women's Track and Field Receives All-Academic Honors

New Orleans, La. - The UConn women's track and field team received Division I All-Academic Team honors for the 2017 season as announce by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
"I am very proud to see our team continue the strong academic success that our program has had in years past," said Head Coach J.J. Clark. "We are coming off one of our best academic years in our program's history."
The track and field team boasted a 3.19 GPA in the 2016-17 academic year. To receive the award, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field team must be a 3.0 or higher on a scale of 4.0.
"Receiving All-Academic team honors shows the commitment this team has off of the field and I congratulate them."
