RIO DE JANEIRO - Former Husky Phylicia George made her second Olympic appearance after she represented Team Canada in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, which concluded on Sunday, Aug. 21.
Here are her results for the 100m hurdles and 4x100m relay.
100m Hurdles:
Heats - Aug. 16, 11:12 a.m. - 2nd place (12.83 seconds)
Semifinals - Aug. 17, 8:53 p.m. - 2nd place (12.77 seconds)
Final - Aug. 17, 10: 55 p.m. - 8th place (12.89 seconds)
4x100m Relay:
Heats - Aug. 18, 11:20 a.m. - 4th place (42.70 seconds)
Final - Aug. 19, 10:15 p.m. - 7th place (43.15 seconds)
A 2010 UConn graduate, George currently holds five program records, including 55m hurdles, 60m hurdles, 100m hurdles, 4x100m and 4x200m relays.
