Huskies Eliminated from AAC Championship by Temple

TULSA, Okla. - The UConn men's tennis team saw their season come to an end on Thursday morning, losing in the first round of the 2015 American Athletic Conference Championship to the Temple Owls, 4-0, at the University of Tulsa.
The Huskies grabbed a doubles victory in the match as juniors Andrew Ginzberg (Woodbridge, Conn.) and Zac McEntee (Yorba Linda, Calif.) posted a win at No. 2. The duo teamed to beat Vineet Naran and Santiago Canete, 6-4.
The team of senior Jacob Spreyer (Denver, Colo.) and sophomore Christopher Toner (South Hamilton, Mass.) lost a tough fought 7-5 match at No. 1 to Nicolas Paulus and Hicham Belkssir.
In singles play, Spreyer rebounded from a 6-1 loss in the first set to Santiago Canete to force a tiebreaker in the second set before falling short, 7-6 (5).
UConn ends the season 2-18 overall. xxxxx
