Men's Tennis Takes Down Nichols

ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team picked up a 5-2 win over Nichols College on Monday afternoon. The Huskies took the doubles points and won four of six singles matches.

Sophomore Wayne Harrell (East Windsor, Conn.) defeated Brandon Roode at one singles; 6-0, 6-2. Harrell and one doubles partner junior Ryan Carr (Madison, Conn.) were narrowly defeated; 9-8 (7-5).

Freshman Andrew Ginzberg (Woodbridge, Conn.) was victorious at four singles; 6-1, 2-6, 7-5, while classmates James Cohen (Plano, Texas) and Zac McEntee (Yorba Linda, Calif.) won at five and six in straight sets.
