Crevoiserat Will Represent USA At World Junior Championships

STORRS, Conn. (June 18, 2012) - University of Connecticut women's track and field standout Lindsay Crevoiserat (Glastonbury, Conn.) competed in the 3000 meter run at this weekend's Junior Nationals in Bloomington, Ind. Crevoiserat, who just concluded her freshman year as a Husky, posted a time of 9:33.46 for second place.
Her silver medal on Sunday earns her a spot on the start list to represent the American team that will compete in Barcelona, Spain from July 10-15 at the World Junior Championships.
Also competing at the Junior Nationals was redshirt freshman Megan Chapman (Stonington, Conn.) who was 19th in the discus with a toss of 38.51m.
