Huskies Head to New England Championships

The University of Connecticut men's cross country team is set to compete in this weekend's New England Championships at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass. on Sunday at noon. The Huskies are the defending New England champs after capturing first in 2011 with four runners finishing in the top-35.
UConn has had two weeks off following a second place finish at the CCSU Ted Owens Invite. Junior Ryan McGuire has led the squad in both of the 2012 meets with his most recent race ending in a second place finish.
