Men's Tennis Blanks Minnesota State-Mankato 7-0

PUERTO RICO - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team blanked Minnesota State-Mankato 7-0 on Thursday in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
To start things off in the match, UConn swept the doubles' matches as Scott Warden and Andrew Marcus downed MSU's Mitch Barr and Cole Jensen 8-2 in No. 1 doubles.
Dave Adams and Nic Visinski defeated Marco Vazquez and Xue Chang 8-5 before freshmen Teddy Margules and Ryan Carr blanked Christian Bernal and Matt Jameson 8-0. Warden led singles' play off as well, defeating Mitch Barr 6-1, 6-2. In No. 5 singles, Margules downed Mike Lindamen 6-0, 6-1 before Ryan Carr defeated Vazquez 6-1, 6-3 in No. 2 singles' action.
In No. 6 singles, Visinski defeated Chang in a pair of 6-2 sets, while teammate Wei Lin downed Jensen 6-3, 6-1 to come away with another victory for the Huskies. To round things off, in No. 4 singles, Ricardo Cardona came from behind to win a competitive match against Bernal 3-6, 6-2, 10-4.
The Huskies handed Minnesota State-Mankato its seventh loss of the season.
