Murray Garners BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Spot

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - UConn volleyball senior Rebecca Murray (Carmel, Ind.) earned her second BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll award of the season this afternoon (Nov. 15) for her play during the week of Nov. 8-14. Murray recorded a pair of double-doubles over the weekend and set a career-high with 23 kills in the five-set victory over West Virginia.
Murray posted 13 kills and 15 digs against Pittsburgh last Saturday and came back with a 23 kill, 12 dig performance against the Mountaineers on Sunday. Over the weekend she averaged 4.00 kills per set and 3.00 digs per set, while also recording one service ace and one block assist.
After four seasons as part of the UConn volleyball program, Murray ranks seventh on the all-time career kills list with 1,143, fifth on the all-time blocks list with 351, and ninth on the all-time aces chart with 117.
