Huskies Take Fourth At Connecticut College Invitational

WATERFORD, Conn. - Led by senior Brian Gagnon (Lowell, Mass.), the University of Connecticut men's cross country team took fourth place in the Connecticut College Cross Country Invitational. Gagnon finished 10th among the 214 runners with a time of 25:50.
All of the Husky runners finished in the top half of the competitors. Freshman Myles Udland finished second among Husky runners and 22 overall with a time of 26:13 while his classmate Ryan King (Tolland, Conn.) finished nine seconds later in 26th place.
Michael Rutt (Sinking Spring, Pa.) took 32nd place with a time of 26:25 and freshman Artem Skobrev (Norwalk, Conn.) was the final Husky to finish in the top-50 runners with a time of 26:29.
Freshmen Dan Bubniak (Danbury, Conn.) and Maanek Kumar (Piscataway, N.J.) rounded out the Huskies as they came in 58th and 65th place respectively.
The Huskies are back in action next weekend when they compete at New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
