Huskies Second At Terrpin Cup

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Connecticut men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded competition at the Terrapin Cup on Saturday as both teams finished in second place.
Maryland won the 10-team men's competition with 1,072 points while UConn was second with 662 and William and Mary was third with 608. Maryland also won the eight-team women's competition with 1,144 points followed by UConn with 891.5 and William and Mary with 726.5.
"We had some very good performances at the Terrapin Cup," says UConn head coach Bob Goldberg. "It was a fabulous team effort with four team records broken, NCAA B Cut times and countless personal bests."
The Huskies return to action December 3-5 when they travel to the United States Short Course Championships in Federal Way, Wash., and December 4-5 for the Rutgers Diving Invitational.
