Men's Tennis Cruises Past Boston University, 6-1

STORRS, Conn. (April 3, 2008) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team won its fourth out of the last five matches, defeating Boston University, 6-1, Thursday afternoon at the UConn Tennis Courts. The Huskies are now 5-6 on the season.
Christian Malerba (Derby, Conn.) won his team-leading sixth consecutive singles match by shutting out Hans Sapra, 6-0, 6-0, in flight five. In doubles action, Malerba partnered with Joey Michaels (Rochester Hills, N.Y.) to defeat Giulio Galloratti and Phil DeMeo, 8-5.
UConn returns to action Saturday at Georgetown.
