UConnBowl.com To Feature Chats And Blogs

STORRS, Conn. (December 29, 2008) -- As the University of Connecticut football team journeys to Toronto for the playing of the International Bowl, UConnBowl.com will begin to feature player blogs and player internet chats from "Up North."
UConn junior safety Robert Vaughn (North Attleboro, Mass.) will write a daily blog starting on Wednesday, December 30 as the Huskies arrive in Toronto and through the playing of the game.
UConnBowl.com will also host three "chats" with Husky players for fans to ask questions about the bowl experience. On Wednesday, December 31, fans will be able to chat with redshirt sophomore Scott Lutrus (Brookfield, Conn.) at 10:15 a.m.
On Thursday, January 1, fans will be able to chat with senior tight end Martin Bedard (Laval, Quebec). This should be of particular interest as Bedard is a Canadian native.
There will also be a final chat on Friday, January 2 at 10 a.m. with a player to be announced.
