Men's Tennis Wraps Up UConn Invitational

STORRS, Conn. (September 30, 2007) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team finished hosting the UConn Invitational Sunday afternoon at the UConn Tennis courts.
Christian Malerba (Derby, Conn.) was the lone Husky still in competition, participating in the #5 singles championship. He fell to Andrew Costin of Rhode Island, 6-4, 6-4 after battling through the bracket yesterday.
Stony Brook took home final wins in six-of-10 events on the weekend, including both doubles flights.
The UConn men's tennis team returns to action Tuesday and Wednesday with dual matches against Siena and Salve Regina, respectively.
