Men's Tennis Loses To Lamar 7-0

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (March 9, 2007) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team wrapped up its spring break trip to San Antonio, Texas with a loss to Lamar, 7-0, on Friday afternoon.
Lamar opened play by taking the doubles point winning all three matches. Singles play saw Lamar winning all six matches. No 2 singles was the most contested as sophomore Ben Schueler (Arlington, Mass.) battled to a 6-3, 6-4 final against Mario Janjic.
The Huskies open BIG EAST play hosting Villanova in their next match on Saturday, March 24 with a start time of 12:00 p.m.
