Men's Tennis Defeated by Georgetown 6-1

STORRS, Conn. (March 31, 2007) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Georgetown on Saturday afternoon at the Connecticut Tennis Courts.
Freshman Tom Cook (Pittsford, N.Y.) was the only singles winner on the day, pulling out an exciting 6-4, 2-6, 10-5 victory over Bert Baggio at No. 4.
Freshman Joe Goldstein (Tucson, Ariz.) and sophomore Ben Schueler (Arlington, Mass.) teamed up at No. 1 doubles to defeat Anthony Tan and Kevin Walsh 8-4.
UConn next travels to Fairfield on Thursday, April 5 for a match beginning at 3 p.m.
