Men's Tennis Swept by Marist 7-0

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (March 27, 2007) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team was swept by Marist 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon at the Marist Tennis Pavilion in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Freshman Thomas Cook (Pittsford, N.Y.) posted the toughest fight at No. 6 singles but fell short to Federico Rolon 6-4, 6-4.
In doubles action, sophomore Ben Schueler (Arlington, Mass.) and freshman Joe Goldstein (Tucson, Ariz.) dropped an 8-4 match at No. 1 to Pedro Genovese and Jeff Nguyen.
UConn will return home for a match against Amherst on Wednesday afternoon with first serve at 2:30 p.m. at the Connecticut Tennis Courts.
