Men's Tennis Drops 4-1 Match to Villanova

STORRS, Conn. (March 25, 2007) - The University of Connecticut men's tennis team fell to Villanova 4-1 on Saturday afternoon in Storrs, Conn.
Freshman Thomas Cook (Pittsford, N.Y.) was the lone singles winner on the day with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Sumanth Chittajallu at No. 6. Cook then teamed up with junior Nate Carvalho (Freetown, Mass.) to pick up his second win of the day at No. 3 doubles over Charlie Farmer and Alex Lesser, 8-7.UConn is back in action on Monday afternoon with a match at Marist with first serve set for 3:30 p.m.
