Men's Cross Country Finishes Second at Ted Owens Invitational

NEW BRITIAN, Conn. (September 16, 2006) - The University of Connecticut men's cross country team raced to a second place finish at the Ted Owens Invitational fueled by freshman Paul Durfee's second place finish (27:00) on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Freshman Will Sanders finished right behind Durfee in third place in a time of 27.06. Freshman Colin Myers took 11th (28:24) followed by freshman Aaron Lozier in 13th in 28.42.
Senior Kyle Eckman (Bridgewater, N.J.) came in 14th in a time of 28:45 while Daren Myers (Cohoes, N.Y.) rounded out the Husky finishers in 15th (29:11).
Next up for UConn is the Quinnipiac Invitational on September 22 in Hamden, Conn.
