UConn-Pitt Football To Now Air Locally on WTNH

STORRS, CONN. (Oct. 31, 2006) – The University of Connecticut’s football game against Pittsburgh on Veterans’ Day, Nov. 11, will now be broadcast in the Hartford-New Haven market by ABC-affiliate WTNH TV-8. The game was originally slated to be sown on WTNH’s sister station, WCTX MyTV9. The game will still be shown on SportsNet NY (SNY) and WTAE (ABC) in Pittsburgh. The contest kicks off at 3:30 p.m. at Rentschler Field.
