UConn Swimming and Diving to Host Alumni Reunion Meet
ECAC and New England Championship team from 1995-96 to reunite at “Annual Alumni Swim Meet”
STORRS, Conn. (October 17, 2006) – The UConn swimming and diving team will host their “Annual Alumni Swim Meet” on Saturday, October 21, at 11 a.m. in the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. This year’s meet will reunite the ECAC and New England Championship team from 1995-96.
The reunion has been organized and initiated by UConn Swimming Hall of Famer Sean Tedesco. At UConn, Tedesco was a New England, ECAC, and BIG EAST Champion. Tedesco also holds the UConn record time in the 200 breaststroke. He is currently the Head Swimming Coach at the Merchant Marine Academy.
Swimmers scheduled to attend include Jeff Anderes, Cory Dippold, Mark McKee, Keith Moran, John Regazzi, Greg Rotberg, Sean Tedesco, Ryan Zacharczyk, Mike Trueworthy, Sarah Golden, Jessica Kolesar, Amy Luysterbouroughs, Amy Mikuszewski, Aimee Reid, Regan Reid, Jen Salamon, Elena Semler and Courtney Welch.
A social will be held immediately following the event.
